Green Recovery

Welcome to our Building Back Better Planning for a Green Recovery Hub

As Canada debates ways to rebuild the post-COVID economy, Corporate Knights commissioned research and gathered leaders from finance, business, labour, policy, Indigenous and other communities to develop new solutions for Building Back Better. We asked dozens of Canada's thought leaders to join us in sharing solutions for a green recovery around six themes: Buildings, Power, Transport, Heavy industry, Forests and Energy.

That conversation began with a table-setting white paper each week, with a package of bold policy proposals presented at the weekly roundtables. The roundtable discussions brought together people with the ideas and the power to explore how Canada can use a renewed climate-based approach to build a stronger, more sustainable economy.

Our goal: to inspire Canadian decision-makers to seize this opportunity to Build Back Better.

The weekly roundtable series kicked off on April 22 (the 50th anniversary of Earth Day) and continued through June 3.
